Jack, I know you probably got your answer on Facebook. But I'll add it here too. It is very possible to have partial VIN stamp to be off one digit as long at it's the same on both pieces.

Thanks. Yes some of the FB folks were helpful. Others not so much. One fella even told me it's not the original engine. Thanks again
