Wipers normally have 12 volt power all of the time. The wiper switch supplies the ground. When turned off the parking switch keeps the wipers moving until they reach the park position. I am betting it is the parking switch in the motor.

Interesting, I’ll have to dig into that. Thank you!
I pulled the fuse for the motors to temporarily disable them so the car is at least usable (without scraping up the windshield). I’ll have to look into that at some point. It’s my dad’s car, I just help him out a bit. Thanks!! |

Hello, one more question; does this involve a replacement/rebuild of the motor or is it something easily fixable?
