I don't understand the need for adjustable oil pump pressure, please explain. thanks .

I ordered the Titan pump pre-set at 100psi and their pump is adjustable pressure. If I have to lower or raise it based on bearing clearance, hydraulic roller lifter issues and so on. Just nice to have the capability if it’s needed.
