The foams are different for 1973-1977 when the deluxe used a "horsecollar" style seat - but for 1970 through 1972 the standard and deluxe seats used the same foams for their yearly style.

I could be mistaken, but I also thought that the 1970 Camaro and Firebird used the exact same seat foams.

Seems like the deluxe foam is correct for a standard interior Firebird, and the standard foam would be correct for a standard Camaro, but not a Firebird.

I'll get in contact with Al Knoch and ask about their foam.

See how yours has the grooves cut almost the entire length of the foam? The ones marked as standard stop only about 1/3 of the way, which clearly isn't what the Firebirds use.

I called Al Knoch, and they said their foam is actually produced by them, not drop shipped junk from PUI. That said, they said they're about 6 weeks out on production.

Do you wanna part with any of that original foam? lol
