The curvy one does go on the side of the jack hook. The cutout in the decal goes around the rivet. See the third pic in Todd's eBay listing, here:

There is a different decal which went on the underside of the trunk itself. My Bonneville no longer has (or never had) this one, but my '63 GP did (and still may; I think that lid is still on it, but all bets are off as to the condition of the underside of it, as the car has been weathering for several decades in the backyard). The one on the underside of the trunk (I think) dealt with jack and spare stowage, vs jacking instructions (which went on the jack). That said, it may take me some time to come up with a decent example of that one (I looked at a '62 Bonneville recently with the trunk lid decal intact, but the pic was from too far away to see details).

The Ames decal is correct for the jack. How accurately it follows the original is hard to say. I've long since had my jack hook blasted and powder coated, but I have yet to schtick a decal back on it.

I've looked through my sales literature, but haven't found anything useful there. My long-closed GP trunk may be the next step. I'll post back if/when I find something interesting, but the jack decal is indeed correct.

Thanks, Lewis for that info and link. I had it on the other side
and it just didn’t look right. Once I moved it , it looked better.
Of course, I ripped it real good - so
more orders to come.
