I FINALLY got my ignition switched over to FiTech timing control with the MSD6AL. Works well. I mounted the Blaster 2 black coil horizontally, parallel to the passenger valve cover. I used a coil bracket that was $8 off Amazon, and mounted to a threaded boss near the #2 and 4 intake ports. The decals barely show, so I left them on.

The bracket was surprisingly a nice piece even tho it was cheap.

Now I need to dial in my spark map and do some wire management. Having a small cap distributor instead of the big HEI leaves me with lots more room at the firewall. The red distributor cap looks kinda goofy, didn't know what I was thinking. "I see a red cap, and I want to paint it black..."

You can paint them, msd also offers black caps, or any points cap from the store will fit.
