The center section of the subframe isn't supported on the inside so when you use it as a jacking joint, it bends like shown. I've corrected several of them over the years by cutting it out, straightening it in a press and welding it back in.

Never heard of the Willow Run plant in Michigan before. That's interesting.
Have a 74 GTO 4spd #s car that turned into a parts car after a falling tree accident. No idea where it was built. |
