If I'm not mistaken Andre was a Frenchman. I'd guess he had trouble finding a French car that he would fit comfortably in. That being said I'd wager it was an export model.

Strato Chief was a Canadian model.
All with Chevy engines and Chevy chassis - routine Canada ponti-chevs.
The beige car - you can see how far the rear wheels are tucked into the body.

421 emblems are an add on. Maybe it had an engine upgrade to match the emblem.

Andre's V8 emblem was probably factory ,,,, small block.
Up to 409cid was available in them.

I have a 64 Star Chief 4 door post.
Acadian and Parisienne and Laurentian were the only Canadian models I had seen before until this Strato Chief with Andre.

Google response :
Igor Garza, who famously used a large, older-model car as a cost-saving measure. He would put a mattress in the trunk of his car, park behind a venue, and sleep there overnight to avoid paying for hotel rooms.

My 64 Star Chief could hold a queen size mattress with the trunk shut.
