This is a fun video. The Firebird has small small port volume iron heads. The GTO has much larger heads and bigger everything else. Gear, converter and vehicle weight are similar. Both are pump gas combinations. A couple of PY members ran down the track in front of us. Both guys still have those cars.

Where did the GTO go? LOL

Zoomed in on the tach, that Firebird has quite a converter, really kept the power up.

Thanks Jay, we were testing that converter. It was too loose, the car slowed down two tenths.

Lucky for the GTO I guess
