Since I'm running the 17" Year One wheels, the next set of tires will be run-flats. Can't seem to find a donut spare at a decent price, and I've run into hub opening problems with some samples because a lot of cars shifted to hub-centric wheels in the 80s and those spares don't fit over the front spindle hub.
I've been using Bridgestone Drive Guard run-flats on my wife's BMW 428 for 80,000 miles with very satisfactory results. It is a definite stress reduction knowing she doesn't have to stop on the road with a flat but can drive to any Discount Tire for a replacement.
