I just recently finished a 383 for my G-body and since it was an hei originally I bought a new msd ready to run billet distributor and matching coil .500 shaft, I swapped on a melonized gear for the steel roller cam, set up the curve I wanted and dropped it in. Almost 4000 miles on the setup so far and it's fine.
