I can’t believe they stole that design from the Nissan Leaf.

I thought the public was rejecting a lot of the electric car push. Just watched a video where people touring a boneyard in Dallas where all the outdated and broken Tesla's are due to the costs associated with repair. At some point, they all become scrap due to the costs to repair.

Is there some unwritten rule with EVs that you can't just swap an ICE power train with an EV power train and not change a thing about the exterior styling?

Why does every EV look like it lost a future car contest?

The lack of an engine bay is likely the largest obstacle. "@RichRebuilds" did a V8 Model S on YouTube.

The car may start reporting information about you but your phone has been doing this for years. Why are people so afraid of EVs?

Not afraid of EV's.

They are just not practical for where I live, work and play. Someday they might be of interest to me.

I only thought my preference was based on how the characteristics of the products match my needs. I was unaware that my choice is because of a phobia.

Second, do I realize the potential intrusiveness of technologies today? Yes and I attempt to minimize the personal information collected. That does not mean that I should not oppose and avoid a vehicle (both for ICE and EV) technology that will stare at my face every second I'm driving, transmit my location to unknown sources advertising that I am not home and won't be for hours, or notify authorities and companies of my driving. I read 1984.
