Also, I did not replace the cam. The bottom end wasn’t messed with other than changing the oil pump.

Mr. Hanlon - I have the valley pan and intake manifold on.. can’t see the lobes on the cam now. Do you happen to remember what clock position for the crank that would align these holes? I would like to verify that this is working to some degree before dropping her back in the car.

I'm sorry, I don't.

And it wouldn't be the crank position, it would be the cam position which is only lined up once in 2 crank turns for each head.
