Yup, only time there is a driver/passenger difference is if it's a mount like the mighty mount which has some extra structure on the driver side mount.
The engine in the Firebird is set back further than the engine in a Camaro. I wouldn't think the G-Force crossmember would care about that however. One thing that can happen is a short vs long tailshaft transmission. If you've got a long tailshaft, this may cause crossmember mounting issues.
