Pomona Finals
These Pomona races don't have lots of Pontiacs, like they use to.
Only 3 Stockers & 2 Super Stockers. https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...r=100#indextop https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...er=30#indextop But, at least I'm glad to see that Art Peterson & Keri Angeles are still racing. I noticed that Keri is running in GT. According to the pre-entry list, her '69 Bird is now 428 powered. IF that info is correct, I assume it has the Edelbrock alum heads. I suppose they finally decided that the RA4 heads are just too rare & valuable to race. https://www.nhraeventreg.com/ListEve...PC2&cc=7&rn=23 Last edited by ponyakr; 11-12-2021 at 12:59 AM. |

Pomona Finals
After 2 rounds of Stock/SS elims, Randi Lyn has the only Pontiac powered car still alive. She cut a .004 light in E-2, for the win.

Pomona Finals
Randi Lyn has survived 2 more rounds.
In round 3, she cut a .003 light. https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...r=100#indextop Her E-4 light was not near as good, but plenty good enuff for the win. This was the quarter final round. So, she moves on to the semi-final. https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...r=100#indextop |

Pomona Finals
The bad news is that Randi Lyn broke out.
But, the good news is that she was running a slower class car, which broke out 1st. So, she's in the final. https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...er=30#indextop Cut a bad light & got beat in the final. Last edited by ponyakr; 11-14-2021 at 06:49 PM. |

Cajun Classic NO
Time for the Cajun Classic national open race, @ No Problem Raceway, in Belle Rose, LA.
https://racenpr.com/2021/nhra-cc/ Don't know if there will be any Pontiacs there, or not. The track is in my home state, but several hours from me. If I knew there would be a lot of Pontiacs there, I'd consider goin down for a few hours on Sat, to see the Pontiacs & take some pics. But, I know that won't happen. Just too long a trip for most Pontiac racers, especially since it's not a nat event. Not sure where the closest race is, that usually has lots of Pontiacs. But, I know it ain't close, probably several states from me. So, I'll just read about 'em & look at the pics. Last edited by ponyakr; 11-18-2021 at 09:31 PM. |

Looks like the Clegg Mission Garage '74 T/A Stocker is entered. Devon Dioguardi is the driver.

Any 1st Gen Stockers For Sale ?
Don Kennedy is trying to help a friend find a 1st gen Stocker.
Found out the Chris Stephenson Bird is for sale. But the asking price is $45k. In case the guy can't swing that much, do any of you guys know of one for sale ? Not sure, but I assume he MIGHT consider a nice bracket Bird, which hasn't been cut up & modified too much to easily convert to Stocker. He's probably not interested in starting from scratch, with a street Bird. |

Feel Good Story !
I like 'em !
Just learned that Leo Glasbrenner, with police help, found the Lindy Lindholm '74 Formula Stocker. The thieves had messed up some stuff. So Leo fixed everything, & freshened everything up, got it race ready & surprised Lindy with it ! And, I'll have to apologize. Lindy raced it at Vegas, & somehow I just didn't see it, I suppose. It ran .736 under @ Vegas. https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...r2021#indextop Last edited by ponyakr; 12-02-2021 at 04:18 PM. |

Anybody have one ?
Looking for someone who has either a 1972 or 1973, or both NHRA "Factor Finder" booklets.
Don't need to buy. Just need for someone to look up some Pontiac hp factors for '72 & '73. |
