This one will be long term project. I did finally get it running over the holidays, got the rear end back together and was able to drive under it's own power for the first time in who knows how long. Last owner grenaded the spider gears in rear and I hauled it out of a field in the backwoods. Very pleased with how it is running so far. This was the maiden voyage last night. Affectionately dubbed "The Yellow Rose"

Looks like it cleaned up pretty good to have been sitting out in a field with a busted rear end. Bare dirt is the worst environment for a broken parked car here in the south. Ground moisture is a monster on the underside. The exhaust is no biggie if that needs attention, I would take a good look at the brake lines though. Nice car , have fun.

Thanks! Yea, the brakes are iffy and need gone through. Exhaust is surprisingly good but has awful trumpet tips on it. The car has very minimal lower rust on both rear quarters. it will be getting a color change at some point but the plan is to drive and enjoy it as is for a while.

Yes it is. Our buddies over at ups dinged the door up a bit. Nothing a hammer and dolly can't fix.

The "freight gorillas" strike again!
Sorry you are having to deal with the damage. Maybe I could have packaged it differently? |

First the white 71, and now this one. You must really like to weld.
Kudos for saving these cars. |
