Hey my clutch pedal is about to drive me nuts, when im driving it starts to vibrate and make a really annoying noise, is their anyway to fix this? I have to place my foot up againt the clutch inorder to elimanite the noise, its as if the pedal is loose. Is there a way to tighten the clutch or a way to jimmy rig it, thanks for any help

Good luck at your car shows hope you win 1st in the Stock Compact everyday driver nothing special about me class. Or the i want to go fast but cant afford a good car so i buy this crap and put in a sound system cauz the bass gets my A$$ down the stre |

Is the tension spring on the Z-bar in place?

My '94 S10 had that problem with the brake pedal. Believe it or not, all it took was some oil on the bushing. It must take up the slack. Worth a try on your TA...

Make sure the clutch return spring is still attached to the Z-bar and frame and also check the rubber bumper under the dash.

the 78 service manual shows the spring attached to the clutch fork ,the other end is attached to a angle clip that resides direckly under the cross shaft (Z bar ) and is attached to the frame. it also calls for chassis lubricant on both ends of the spring where it attaches , also to lube the push rod end ( the threaded part )there is also a adjustment procedure if needed
