PG- Did you buy this 68 in West Bend? There was one like it for sale a few months ago.

I want to put the strip on a 68, so I really don't want to purchase a 69 manual. This is not going to be a clone, I just like the stripe and think it will look great on my white 68.

On the '69s that I have had the drivers door stripe goes just below the door mirror base & above the door handle. It should run parallel with the upper body line. The fender & 1/4 stripes should follow the line set by the door stripe.

pggto, here is a scan of the '69 "The Judge" decor installation drawing. At 72 dpi, the hand printing is pretty hard to read, let me clarify some of the key measurements:
Starting at the front; View A, point of stripe is 3.60" back from the fender front edge and 0.80" down from the fender peak. At section B-B (30" from rear of fender) the stripe is 0.54" below fender peak. At mirror gasket, 0.10" min clearance. At section F-F (24" from front of door) 1.94" from feature line. This measurement should remain constant to a point 15" to the rear of the door opening. At door handle, 0.10" minimum clearance.

The 1969 Assembly Manual has a whole page of DETAILED installation drawings. Year One has the manual. Cost is $52 + shipping.
