On my 68, I'm having an electrical problem where there is power to the accessories at all times. The "generator" light is just barely glowing at all times also. Everything works perfectly. When you start up the car the generator light comes completely on and never goes off.
I bought the car with this problem and I thought that it might solve itself while I was working on it this winter, because I changed the ignition switch, interior wiring harness and instrument cluster.
When I unplug the harness from the back of the alternator the generator light comes on fully at all times. When I unplug the voltage regulator nothing changes. The engine compartment harness has been spliced and repaired over the years, but it looks like everything has a home.
Any ideas?
