Just checking to see what code or stamp I need to have a picture of to show it #'s matching while it is out and painted nice. Also, how do you break it down? Thanks again!

shouldn't it have a partial VIN # stamped on it?
so look up your vin and then look around the tranny for any variation of it and as for breaking it down, in one of the codes there's a letter designation A B or C if i remember right I think A was M20, b=m21, c =22, if i remember correctly (or something like that) someone correct me if i'm wrong

I dont think the had a VIN on them until late 67 or starting in a 68 model. I could also be wrong though.

Yea VINS weren't stamped until 68 and the only way I've been told to check trannys is just to run the dates codes on it, year one has a tranny decoder I think on their website.

I have a '67 GTO (Baltimore Plant) and a '67 LeMans (Kansas Plant), both 4-Speeds with 10D build dates and both have the correct VIN numbers stamped on the top of the front case of the transmission.
