Just bought a new water neck with built in O-ring. Will the O-ring seal well enough on it's own or do I need to install a gasket and/or sealant also?

The o-ring will work fine. I am currently running a chrome water neck with an o-ring on a performer RPM intake. I have had no problems. Also, with the o-ring, you don't have to replace a gasket each time you remove the water neck.
