I need to know if there are any extra or different braces that hold on the hideaway headlights on either side of the headlight on a 1969 GTO.My car came with the exposed headlights and I want to install the hideaways.I have the hideaway headlights ,but I dont have any extra brace or bracketss.Also do I need any braces that mount the actuaors to the car?Please help.Thanks

The main brackets for mounting the bumper are TOTALLY different for hideaways. the actuators have thier own separate mounts as well.

Like 69Projects stated....the large front bumper braces are different on a Hide-away bumper car.The hole that the Pivot arms fit through are larger oblong holes than a regular bumper bracket that has a smaller more round hole in them.Your Non hide-away Endura bumper will have the holes for the actuators brackets to bolt onto them and the bumper should also have the bolts on the RH & LH sides in the back to mount the Headlamp Assembly (shown in the diagram) that fold down when operating the hide-aways.
You might be able to cut a larger hole in your bumper braces to accomadate the actuator arms or place an add in the "Want Adds" for the correct bumper braces?
