Default 70 TA floormats

Does anyone have a picture of the stock floormats used on the 70 birds or the name of any vendors making reproductions?
Thanks

our forum host actually has (or had) them... I have seen blue, black, and I think a tantype colour floor mat - the fron ones have a white bird crest in them... I have original black ones...
I believe your car should only have them if they were ordered...
Front mats are RPO code 522, rear mats are RPO code 521...

I have 1 or maybe 2 sets NOS fronts in GREEN like those pictured if they would help anyone. I was going to dye them 70 bright blue to match my interior and use only for show purpose. Plan on buying repo now - eventually.

Haven't pulled any of that stuff out in years, not sure if I have ANY rears. Absoultely the best looking floor mats ever made. Would have been cool if they made some "Wings-Down" for 67-69.

I've got what I think are the originals in my trunk, I'll dig em out this weekend. They are a bit faded and need washed. They don't look like the picture of the ones Keith has though. They have kind of a short nap carpeting type material with rubber edges.

My trunk is a truly scary place to get into.
Did the 70 TA trunks originally have any carpeting or lining in them?

Here are the factory '70-72 floor mats. They have "PONTIAC" lettering on them with vertical lines and an embossed firebird symbol on the front mat. Last time I checked, reproductions are available in black, blue, and red. The originals were available in all interior colors.

dgb100, those don't sound like factory mats. None of the 2nd-gens had carpeted floor mats. I believe carpeted mats were introduced on the '83 Daytona 500 T/A and then became the norm on all Firebirds in 1984. For '70-73 deluxe interior cars got an aqua color molded rubber trunk mat.

Was there a Sandlewood mat or did they use a brown or black mat in sandlewood interior cars.

My 71 T/A still had the original White bird Mats when I bought it. Blue interior car with White floor Mats and silver bird.
