Default 66 or 65 Catalina question.

Hey guys long time no posts, I just ran across a 65 or 66 Catalina rag top in great shape. Orig paint, Leather interior, 4bbl motor (didnt get the displacement)Interior has no problems other than a cracked wheel, dash is inshape no damage all things there and working. new tires with orrg wheels, looks like is has some body work in rear minor stuff but body very straight no rust. the engine compartment you could eat off off, no ac. The only thing I seen on the heads was a 4 on the pass front side, (last night). Anyway the lady wants 7,000 and I Could most likely get it for 6000. is this a good deal? I have not seen to many for sale on the net and was just wondering what the value was for them.

Thanks in advance

it sounds like it should be worth that. these cars are just starting to come into their own pricewise so you shouldn't lose any money.

Sounds reasonable for the condition you describe.
