Watch out for Classicmusclecarparts01 ebay crook !
An honest ebay customer of mine was telling me about is huge 8000$ lost on the rebuilt 70 455HO, item # 280065384192. This is the engine he bought and got ripped off on. The seller told him he could purchase it for 7000 gran plus 1000$ shipping and everything if he stop the auction earlyer, after the buyer paid, he took his money and ran ! Buddy could not believe it because this guy had 100% feedback for the longest time, amazing how can some poeple turn ! Beware and be safe !

If you are going outside of the process you are on your own, so you better be sure you can physically see the goods in question. There is no "safe harbor" protection at that point. Caveat Emptor...

I hate to hear stories like this unfortunatly the only option is to sue him in court the police will not get involved in priviate transactions like this

It's possible the seller named had his account hijacked, and some scam artist is using it. Don't be too quick to place blame.
