i started priming my 350 Chevy today and im only getting oil on the pass side rockers,,, driver side is dry,, im using a priming tool for a Pontiac v8,,ran the drill for 2mins at 45psi
so whats going on,, do i need a different priming tool? |

im sorry,, im getting oil on the driver side,,, no oil on the passenger side.

I had the same problem with a 327 and I took an old dist., ground the teeth off the gear ,welded a socket to the top, installed it and got oil pressure right away. I believe there is a passage that the distributor seals off.

yup., it needs to pressurize,, im not sealing the hole. i ordered a new tool with the cap
