Seriously. I know the deal my post started. LOL. But.............I don't know and looking for ballpark prices. E-bay isn't a help as one time you get nothing the next it goes for 10 times the value. E-bay now-a-days is a crap shoot. If some of these heads aren't worth taking up space I'll junk em and get more as scrap is still up down here. I already junked out 10 set of small valve early heads a few months ago as I was forced to price on PY and got no responses. That was my reason to put PM or E-mail me with make offer. LOL. But anyway back to the topic at hand.

I think this will help others out there with a reference having to post a price on PY to sell their stuff and afraid to ask because of retributions. Thanks.

Dang good question. I have a bunch of these myself but have really never thought about selling them.
The scrap iron man thinks I should pay him to haul them off.
A few months ago a man came to the house, someone had told him that I had a bunch of Pontiac stuff. He was looking for a set of heads and an intake for a 77 T/A that he was restoring.
I am disabled and the man had to help me out to the building where the parts are stored.
I let him dig through stuff and he found what he wanted. He asked me what would I take for the heads and intake. I couldn't tell him because I didn't know what they were worth and had never thought about selling the stuff. He asked if I would take six hundred.
Needless to say, you know the rest of the story.

There has got to be an average price for these parts.
Somewhere between scrap iron and gold.

My guess is the 13 and 62's are worth a good 200 - 250 as cores needing rebuilding. I've got a set of 092 and 143 that I can't hardly give away. Same thing with 6X's.

If you still have the 62's come Norwalk, I may take them off your hands then if I can't find a set locally.

Just a question.I never hear anything about the 7h1's,but I see they are a 80cc chamber. I would think these would make a good 400 head seeing as how that would put you right in the mid 9's CR wise. You can convert to big valves and put in screw in studs,correct?

62s are crazy. I sold a set on here to someone locally for $300. Then 6 months later I advertised a beautiful set of castings all the way down to $150. I even ran them twice on ebay and nobody bought them. Finally someone picked them up for that price. The 13s can go for $250- 400.
I have a set of 092s including the 4 barrel intake, valves, exhaust manifolds and a couple of brackets that I would let go for a $130.

While Ebay is a crap shoot for one-offs. What I usually do is use the advanced search function and select completed listings. I throw away the high and low and average the rest.

I sold a set of 68 15's on Ebay about a year ago and got 190 for them. I just did a quick search and there are two sets: one at 150 and one at 165.

I paid $120 for some 62's at a swap meet a few weeks back.

Don't know about the others but you might as well go ahead and scrap the 6H's. I couldn't even give my very low milage heads away in the past
