Does anyone have any experience goor or bad with the KingCraft Generator? We just went throught the ice storm here in southern Missouri and they are offering the 6000watt surge, 5000 watt continuous, 13HP for $400. Has 6.6 gallon fuel tank and comes with the mobility kit and 8" tires, 1 yr. warranty. I know these are Chinese made (what isn't anymore) with Honda knock off motors. Please don't flame me. I only want this for the occassional electric outage.

As has been said all the Chinese ones are about the same. If you are going to get one I do recommend converting it to propane. Today's gas does not store well. If you keep 20-30 gal on hand you need to stabilize it and rotate it out on a regular basis.
A propane conversion is about $189 for the 2 way that lets you run gas or propane. Propane stores forever and is cleaner and quieter. There are ways to make the genny quiet but that is a whole nuther topic Conversions here. http://www.propane-generators.com/
