79 T/A gas pedal replacement
I want to replace the gas pedal on mine as it looks pretty crummy. Feels like there is a pin/spring on the back side but its tough to get to. Do you have to unbolt the 3 bolts the hold the arm to the firewall to get to it? Any tips? Thanks All.

Yes first disconnect the throttle cable then unbolt the three bolts. The throttle cable is sweaged on the end pull it back a little bit there is a slot in the end of the rod that the cable slips out of the rod end.
