Default Rear Suspension Bushings

I am about to get my 63 LeMans on the road finally. I am in need of the four #544247 rear suspension bushings. I have heard some suggestions in the past on what to use. Keith said I could use front bushings but I forgot which number. I seem to even remember a Forum posting about using some common Jeep bushings. What are the current suggestions and where can I find a set of 4 without robbing a bank? Also does anyone have any warnings about things to watch for or techniques to use when replacing them?

I know the 61-62 rear swing arm bushings is the same as the front lower arm bushing. I am not sure about the 63 rear bushings. I will check my books when I get home & see what I can find.

You can buy Jeep body mount bushing material and cut it to width for the lower A arm rods. Its better than stock with right diameter and hole size. Don't know about the back.

These are the same as 65-69 Corvair rear trailing arm bushings. Order part number C2051 from Clark's Corvair Parts: http://www.corvair.com/user-cgi/cata...=MAIN&page=164 I installed four of these in my 63 LeMans.
