Pedal assembly finish?
What finish did the manual pedal assemblies have. I have 2 sets and both are covered in surface rust.
Were they bare steel or painted black? |

Yep...
Krylon works fine. Gloss, I believe.

Thanks for the pics dxeven. After looking very closely at mine I could see that they were partly painted black, similar to what they did on the parking brake assemblies.

This is how I did mine using Krylon Gloss. Krylon tends to not have a deep shine out of the can. I thought it matched pretty well to the original shade. I first painted the enitre unit with a flat silver/gray to give it the bare metal look. Then masked the line to give it the dipped look. This is also a good time to replace the bushings since iti s apart. Good liuck!

They were bare steel and dipped in black up to a point, Bare steel paint and tape off and paint the black.
