Eric is a guy I met here on the forums. We spoke a few times and he was always more than generous with his time and knowledge. I am 32 yrs old and a true newbie when it comes to drag racing Pontiacs. I value any information I can absorb from the members that are kind enough to share. Eric is one of those gentlemen that answer my phone calls and offers his help whenever I seem to need it. Well Eric did something for me that I felt needed to be shared with the group! I am still shocked that there are people in this world like a few of the guys I have met on this board! Listen to this...

(I will keep it short and to the point)

My fiance and were sharing our first Christmas together this year. It has been quite an experience to say the least with a lot of unexpected hurdles, incidents and just stuff everyone unfortunately deals with from time to time both good and bad. Well as many of you already know Eric is very fair with his pricing. He and I negotiated a package deal of items I wanted for my project. When my fiance asked for my Christmas list, I of course I told her everything I wanted either bolted, welded or generally was meant for my Pontiac! No problem right... Well like I said life through us a curve and Eric ended up waiting or holding my items for practically a month or so. By the time Eric received the check from my fiance, was able to cash it and deal with his own life issues and holiday obstacle's we had just passed the shipping deadline. At this point, Eric isn't even dealing with me he is dealing with my fiance. I guess the last conversation went along the lines of the package wasn't gonna make it to me till after Christmas. I would have totally understood cause "life happens". (Read my other post in this section about another amazing member). Well I guess Eric heard the disappointment in my fiance's voice because he called her back with an amazing surprise and spent the extra money to make sure that my Christmas gift would be here under the tree Christmas morning! Now I am totally aware of this economy and how EVERYONE has been affected! I wanted this group to know the kind of guy Eric is! One of a Kind!!! He dug deep into his pockets without even caring just to make sure that a young women wouldn't feel like she let me down!!! There is no way for me to express my appreciation for someone like Eric! He is one heck of a guy and as soon as I am in a better position I intend to repay the favor to him and his family. Maybe I can send him and his wife to a nice dinner. Never the less I am beyond thank full and just wanted to share my Christmas tale!
