Default Finally graduated college!

At almost 40 years old I finished the degree I started on 22 years ago. For those of you that have followed my build thread of my '69 Firebird, it is my kind of my graduation gift to myself. Just after high school I sold my '70 GTO and my '67 Nova SS to pay for my wedding. A few months later my wife became pregnant and a year of struggling working part-time and trying to provide for my family came to an end. 2 years ago I returned to school to finish what I had started and today I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

That's a great accomplishment. I say so because I quit in 1979 and sometimes I consider going back to finish it. I know I'd feel pretty good doing so....so yeah, it's a great accomplishment.
Congratulations!

Congrats, I know how you feel. I earned my first Associates Degree in just over three years in the Army, it took nearly 14 more years to finish my Bachelors.

my oldest son graduated a few months ago and was fortunate to have a job waiting for him.

Your perseverance is to be admired and respected. Took me 19 years but it was worth it. Congrats. PS: My degree is in business also.

CONGRATS I see how hard it is for young people to do it who've recently been in high school. That's a MAJOR deal for someone who's ben out a long while!
