Default 1972 Monte Carlo

Figured I would give it a shot here and hope for some exposure. I am linking to my Craigslist ad so that I won't have to retype everything.

http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/3502856424.html

Mainly looking to sell outright, but will trade for some sort of cool Pontiac project + cash.

Picture of the trunk floor for those that have asked. Didn't feel like removing the spare tire, jack, etc to get a shot of the entire floor. But, it is all this solid and clean.

Bump...

Have had several decent offers, but no cash in hand yet. Will deliver up to 250 miles from where the car is stored. (zip 32713)

Make me a fair cash offer, all I can say is no - or counter offer.

Bump for the new month. Currently in talks with a few people about the car, but no cash in hand yet. I'd rather not deal with eBay. (thieves)

I decided to do this, a good friend of mine had decent luck last week doing just that. If it sells, I owe you cold "beverage" or two. I pulled the CList ad, too many wishbones with no money trying to trade their hoopty for my car.

I appreciate it Ron. Not much action lately, just people trying to trade me their late model vehicles that aren't worth more than $3K - $4K. I have fun with them and email them back with a link to the kbb.com appraisal of the heap they're trying to trade me.

I can't believe this car hasn't sold.

Me either. I am practically giving it away. Price is flexible, cash talks. Have had a few people make me offers, I call their bluff - and never heard from them again. Talk about aggravating.

If I had the cash I'd have already flown down there and drove it home. I'm not a fan of red but that's a nice enough one to allow for the color.

It was originally code 14, my mother hated the color as it did nothing for the car. She requested red, my father and I did a complete color change per her request. I think for such a big car, the color really helps it "pop." And look more sporty, vs. a land yacht. JMHO though.

People have contacted me from long distances and complained about shipping. This car is super reliable, I would have no issue driving it the distance vs. having it shipped.

Thumbs up Funny...

my buddy is up here visiting...so I'll let him know it is still for sale. He'll be back home in a couple weeks. He might be buying his red '70 El Camino back while he's up here. He already has a red/red '70 SS hardtop. He seems to have had some luck buying/selling cars in the Bradenton area. I think you just need to get connected to the right folks. We'll see if we can't get this car sold for you. Ron

For the past three weeks I have been driving it to and from work 2-3 days per week. It runs good and is super reliable. I am trying to convince my brother to build a four car garage instead of a three car garage. (So I will have a place to stash this car)
