I'm thinkin' something old school but won't rule out anything newer if it has the right look.
Got any suggestions? Pics? Thanks, Phil

Hard to go wrong with American Racing Torque Thrusts or Cragars, too.

6567, you think like I do. The piecrust/steelie/Cragar or Radir up front look killer. Probably not practical for a daily driver, but way cool.

The car isn't very street friendly so practicality isn't one of my concerns!! LOL!

They are nice and would look really good on the front with the Steelies out back.

Yeah, I'm considering Radirs as well.
Just found their FP customer page. Great pics here. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rides...76984762417828 Last edited by 6567GTO; 03-06-2013 at 08:17 AM. |

Our 65's are almost identical so post some photos with whatever you decide. Perhaps its the old NCRS influence, but I always try to keep the cars period correct, at least in appearance. (alto' the price of repro Red Lines has now proven cost prohibitive for a driver.) I'm holding with the Rally I's (14 front 15 rear) for now, but you can't beat the flat finish grey American Rockets if you're going for a 60's look, or Crager SS's if your going for the 70's look. (Crager also made a GT that was the same chrome wheel as the SS but have semi gloss black paint in the recessed areas and around the lugs that was a cross between the two looks.)

Not quite vintage enough for my tastes but a great look for sure. Hey Scarebird, I was checking out your website - Awesome Product you have there!! I'll definitely see you the next time I do a conversion.

Sure, always look forward to dealing with PY peeps. The brushed satin Autodrags are nice too - and very light.
