Hurst parts - Can anyone help ID these
Many years ago, I bought a bunch of early Pontiac stuff from a guy who raced Pontiac. Most of the stuff was 61 - 62 SD389 & SD421, but there were a few oddball items that came with the parts. It's been so long ago, I only have a vague memory of what these parts are.
I believe the red bracket was used to put a early 60s Pontiac V8 in 55 - 57 Chevies. I'm not sure what the AC-55 brackets fit. Can anyone ID the exact application for these parts? |

The red bracket fits 55-60 Pontiac engines , it's designed to be used with the steel cover only. They made kits to put the early engine is most popular cars.
The AC-55 kit are the frame brackets for 55-57 Chevy. I used the early bracket on my own engine using a 60 cover on a 66 389. Now am using the 2nd style on my 455. I have a Hurst mount thread on here that has some more info.

Bill nailed it. I've got both of those pieces hanging in the garage.

I'm cleaning out, so both are for sale. Any idea what a reasonable asking price is?
These have been in my basement since the mid-80s. Mike |

Sent you a pm, also there is a intermediate factory bracket you'd need from the 55-58 timing cover to front mount to bolt this up to the cover.
