Default Mystery 68 wire harness

What is this from? Both ends have male spades & the wires are blue & black. I can't figure it out.
The grommet was on the wire in a box, BUT, I think it ended up on there by mistake. IT appears to be the grommet for the heater blower motor wire. So you can probably disregard that. Maybe I'll figure it out when the car goes together, but I have the harnesses all laid out on the floor & I am at a loss.... HHhmmm.

Default ahhhhhhhh

this is the upper or dash side of the backup light harness...

there should be another similar harness that connects to it also ..

this goes to the reverse switch on the tranny on a manual car ...

here is a picture of my original 68 GTO shifter on an original 70 M-22 ....

this wiring fits 68 and older ... as 69 moved to the base of the column

with the ignition lockout feature ......

Scott

are you staying with your original Hurst 4 speed shifter ?

Wow, thanks for the quick response!!

I have had the drive train all together for many years. I think I have the switch in the shifter already. I'll take a look.

Yes, restored, but correct M21 & hurst shifter.

I don't recall where the wire went in. on the firewall near the fuse block I am guessing.

Thanks again!
