I'm over to a friends house today and we are messing around with a firebird he is fixing for a friend and we start talking parts and he mentions this block he bought. I thought no way so we checked it out and sure enough an XW -----506 block. Said he would like to find the car for it so that's were its at now. I took some pics but I'm not sure the Vin came out very good. I'm going to have to transfer pics to my computer to load here. It will take a few days. Date coded c--8

Date code would be C118 - if it's a Pontiac built VIN please get in touch with me - mine is missing it's original motor although I have another XW to put in it.
