Is this a race or street car, or both. I always though duel carbs and/or a tunnel ram type intake raised the HP/TQ numbers but here it is nothing but power down low. May I ask the compression and cam you used to make this happen. Going to be fun, that's for sure. Very nice.

The car is setup for street duty... not really capable of handling the full torque.. yet!
Figured I would start with a stout long block to start upon for the street .. once my kids are out of the house ... more track duty. The current drive line setup is: a TCI stage II 700R4 with 3500 stall, 8.5" 3.42 ratio rear with upgraded internals and coil over Ladder bar setup. Hope that my 275 Drag radials will be my "Fuse" .. till I can acquire serious track worthy driveline components. Till then it is a cruiser / Weekend street stalker. (no cage) Hope to get the hyd roller cam details from Butler (if it is not guarded info) when I recieve the engine. For converter selection ... Butler shared some cam specs (to my memory) 240/250 duration w/ 114 LSA ... no other details..... the lift was small enough that Butler did think I needed a stud griddle with my 1.65 rockers. I believe that the engine is 10.9 compression ratio but it may be a low as 10.5 Todd Quote:
