Have a 69 GTO with two fasteners, unlike any I've seen elsewhere on the car. 99% percent certain they came from the front clip, just can't remember from where exactly. More of a silver zinc finish than the typical black zinc finish seen on other front clip fasteners. If I were to guess, I think these secure the radiator support bracket (one each side, 1.5"X 3") to the fender. Another possibility are the two fasteners which secure the wire 'spring' which pops open the hood. Again, I'm quite certain there are only two of these. Any better ideas? Car was assembled in Fremont so I suspect there may be some minor variations between plants for something small like this.

That bolt screws into sheet metal clip, not into a nut.

What size wrench fits the heads? If it's 3/8 they might hold a ground strap.

Thanks. These are 1/2" and not 3/8". Someone PM'd me with a good idea on where they go...
