Just had my flip keys replaced by the fixed keys offered by GM related to the ignition system recall. Eric Casperson was very helpful assisting me in reprogramming new flip keys so that I can fit the remote and folded-down key in my pocket. I now leave in my console a fixed key without a remote so as not to weigh down the ignition when I drive my G8 GXP. Great service and fair prices. The Chinese stuff comes with UNprogrammed key transmitters, which are good for nothing. Max Performance programs the transmitters before sending them to you.
