Pretty sure that Jeff Polazzo & I bought the motor from the car back in the late 80's, early 90's. The original RA II it was raced with was pulled and put in the Pontiaction 69 bird to race. Jeff & I went to some guys house in (I think) Wallingford one night and bought it in pieces, I took the heads, he took the WY block.
The guy did have a race car in the garage - full cage in it, I didn't even look at it, couldn't tell you the year of it now either. Very cool car, would be neat if it could be found.

Just curious, wouldn't the original color have been Mayfair Maize?
