While to me nothing looks better than the old rally II’s, mine are not in the best condition as far as being straight. The repros are an option but these Hurst wheels are growing on me. They come in black and gold, are aluminum, and a lot cheaper than the repro rally wheels. I’d go with black since the car is light (Alpine) blue and gold would clash.
Anyone try these out yet?

not so much mounted... note how the black spokes wash out when mounted. The gold spokes may work better. I got rid of mine at a loss

I agree the spokes seem to wash out on the smaller size

I don’t think they look bad. Black wheels are “in”now. Grey would be a good option if they offered it. Anyone have gold on their car?

I’m very happy with them. I had the same wheels on my 13 Dodge Ram and they held up really well to daily driving abuse

1965gp, I assume those are 17’s. What size tires?

I just went and looked at the tires. The fronts are definitely 235/45 17. The rears look like 275/40 17’s but for some reason I’m thinking they might be 255’s. Because of the redline modification on the sidewall there is no info on the outside of the tires. The way the car is sitting on the lift I couldn’t see the inside of the rear tire where the size is listed.
I’m pretty sure I put 275’s all the way around like I did on my 70 but the fenders on the 68-69 curves inward at the bottom and was cutting the tires which is why I had to buy the 235’s. |

I looked at those a couple of years ago. They look better online than on a car in my opinion. What about the US Mag Bandit? Of course your car and your money...

I agree paint the center of the spokes gray and they would look nice.

I used a charcoal wheel paint for the spokes on my TTs. Kind of an 'homage' to the Rally II colors. Might work with those...
