I don't know what that has to do with my post. I just thought some folks here would find it interesting. I especially liked the top ten ads.

Pretty cool they’re still using my wife’s 68 FB and my 67 GTO in their ads. Although every time I look at that ad it saddens me. The property where they shot my wife’s 68 is now jam packed with condos and parking lots. There used to be the coolest local hangout there called Greasewood Flat. One of my favorite places in the world, and just 5 min from our home. The story is that the owner died, family couldn’t swing taxes and other improvements required by the city, family had to sell, developers were ready and swooped right in.

Chief, I can see where your reply is coming from after reading my thread title again. It could give the impression that Hagerty Insurance is all about Pontiacs. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused and will try to word my thread titles more gooder in the future.

![]() I know some people take this interweb thing way too serious. ![]() I was however pointing out how JC Taylor has done more for the Pontiac world than Hagerty and Mecum combined.

Saw a great program on Woodstock last night. Detailed the history behind it and how the event organisers were hugely over run with non paying arrivals. 50,000 was the permit application and 500,000 turned up.
2 weeks time it was 50 years ago. Doesn't seem that long ago. Interesting watching the interviews with surviving band members and organisers. Credence Clearwater Revival shots, Hendrix was one of the last billings and most people had left before he got on stage. Hippies, Jesus sandals, tie dyed clothes seem to have given way to orthopaedic shoes, bald or nearly bald heads and conservative shirts. I remember it of course but who here might have attended??
