Default 1970 Formula 400

Recently finished my Key Lime Green Formula. The car came new with the Key Lime color and it is growing on me. It has the original Matching#s YS engine and a Muncie M-20 and Black Deluxe interior. Hope you like it.

If your Formula is a manual trans (M-20) standard 330 hp 400, the engine should be a 'WT' code with #12 heads. 'YS' was the automatic 400 engine code with #13 heads. Gorgeous car and thanks for posting more pictures! Bringing it to the TA Nationals this year?

That will grow on everyone, like Quezal gold does.
And I love Keylime anyway!

Fantastic color…for some reason it brings me right back to the early 70s.

Thanks for the kind comments all. The M-20 is not original to the car. Too far to drive to Dayton for the Nats but I will be there. Dave

Ahh, mystery solved regarding the M-20. What a nice Formula to find and drive. All the better if the AC works! Looking forward to seeing you there, I'll be driving the '71 Formula (Canyon Copper) this year.

Default Thanks everyone.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I was considering a color change as I just wasn't sure about Key Lime but now that it is done, I am glad I kept it original. (Matt M.) also urged me to keep it original.
