Repaint front grille 69 TA
Good evening...need some advice on what paint to use on my 69 TA black grille inserts. Mine is chipping off and it needs to be repainted. Is there a plastic grille type paint that works best? besides a good cleaning and scuffing is there a need for primer?
Any help is appreciated....also if anyone knows where I can get replacements that are already painted black I would be interested in knowing that. All of the inserts I see are silver. Jim |

For plastic parts I use SEM Trim Black. Great stuff.

Yep - SEM Trim Black is the way to go. As always when painting stuff, clean the grille very well and scuff sand (especially the front edge of the bars) before painting for good adhesion. Tedious stuff...
