1968 Firebird wheel covers
What was the standard wheel cover for 1968 Firebird ? The build sheet has nothing so my question is are dog dish or full cover hubcaps the base choice? A lot of the pictures I find are full covers but just not sure what’s correct. The build sheet does show redlines.

The dog dish was standard.
The Deluxe wheel covers were included with the Custom Option. Custom wheel covers, wire wheel covers and Rally 2 wheels were options for any '68. One odd exception that I still don't understand is that Deluxe covers were not part of the custom option if rayon radial white walls were ordered. Last edited by JimFB400HO; 02-25-2026 at 08:08 PM. |
