76TA428,
Im 99% sure they would work with your setup. I beleave the only diff is the motor mounts on your setup. You could email me some pics of you motor mounts from the bottom view of your car & I'll see if theres any problem. Also if you bought them & they didnt fit because of the mounts being different then I'd gladly let you return them with a refund.

I agree Joe...By looking at them tho i would say my shorty's basically look like that already just not quite as long as tubes....Wish i knew if there would be a perf increase going to these!

Hopefully, the final design (auto & 4-speed) will arrive any day now. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the big brown truck!

Jim
They are to be made on the car to asure they fit. Thanks for the offer but your probably a few thousand miles away. Since your in Ohio. I would need someone in mid to lower Ca. to be ideal.

I don't know, but since I tossed the 454 chevy & got the Pontiac 455 in. I've had no problems. I get a bunch of puzzled looks though (No its not my speedo's ). Since the Pontiac is lighter I gained a few mph & once I can get the ride plate & shoe combo right. I should gain another 3-5mph.

jamaca85,
Yes I just got the add up & it was $365 + $29 not the $385 for the auto version only.

Skip,
That boat has a Pontiac 455 in it with 510hp. Can we be able to hit 81mph(GPS)on those streets? It only needs 1 1/2' of water.

robscar,
Thanks, "IF" everything goes well it will be the end of next month before I can get setup for A-bodys. I plan to do my R/A V headers around that same time.

Brian,
I confirmed with the header co that the 2 1/2" would more likely have more scavenging effect to it than the 3" would. Because its a smaller step up in size. So you may not have as much response at lower RPMs with the 3". I am going with the 2 1/2" myself not only for the added ground clearance but for the better response. & since I wont have both a 3" & 2 1/2" at the same time for the Dyno test, I wont be able to test that idea for a while.

Ron

Latest update. The O-port headers should be done by Friday. With any luck, and Ron could sure use some, the painted sets will ship next week (Thanksgiving will most likely delay things somewhat). The coated sets will take another week or two. Once these are done the D-ports will be completed, painted or coated, and shipping in early December. Ron wants everyone to have theirs well before Christmas. He is also hoping to have the Kaufman's run a dyno test for HPP. As my son would say, "That would be way cool," and would help validate the unconfirmed testimony of a 1/2 second gain for a SD-equipped car.

Ok guys They just finished the D-port patern & the setup is completed for both O & D-ports. I'll have to know how many O & D ports & 3" or 2 1/2 collectors in by next week for them to start bending & welding. AFTER THAT I CAN'T ADD TO THIS ORDER. Because they do each bend & weld for all them at the same time & adding in the middle of run is not as productive. After I place that order it would be 2-3 weeks to ship but IT COULD TAKE MONTHS TO WORK UP ANOTHER MIN ORDER OR THIS MAY BE THE ONLY ORDER due to lack of sales. So if anyone needs them then speak up now or you may not get another chance.

Thanks Ron
