I just had a manual trans rebuilt at Liberty Gears http://www.libertysgears.com/ for my '69 GTO. They are located near Detroit, MI. I'm very happy with their service and the help they gave me on the re-install when I had questions. I just thought you guys would like the info. They only do manual trans fyi.
