i've not had any luck with the water wetter. we've tried it in different applications and have seen no noticible improvement over a antifreeze mix.

Plain water and one bottle of water wetter works great for me too. 50/50, 70/30 mixes did not work and my 67 GTO came close to overheating..

My personal opinion is that if the magic cooling fluid works so well, the cooling system is marginal to start with.

I use a RR aluminum, Stewart high flow 180 stat, and flowcooler pump. Brand new engine so no blocked passages. New HD clutch and Pontiac A/C fan. Stroker 400 on pump gas.
Mixes ran temp too high 50/50, 70/30. Plain water and water wetter took temps down to 180 steady. Worked great for my combo.... Brad

Will the water wetter keep the corrosion off the parts ?

Here's a link to some tech info. According to their own data, the biggest benefit is changing to water from a 50/50 glycol/water mix. The water wetter helps either mixture a bit more. Judge for yourselves....
The article also deals with corrosion. http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/redtech3.htm George

Funny, I have been thinking about that myself. I tossed out the bottle but I do not think it has any anti-corrosion agents. I was thinking of putting in some Prestone anti-corrosion mix..that should resolve the issue....

That's some excellent info. I was going to use WW with plain water but since I have AC I now know I need to add some anti-freeze.
